A luxurious brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

You are probably wondering how Talea, and I, Cynthia, started Cloudberry & Co. and well, this is a crazy story.

Cynthia and Talea were, well we are, friends, and both of us were very unhappy with our current situations, so one day after talking about what we would love to do, and seeing a few fashion movies, they decided on a fateful night in 2023 to start their own business. Now, I know this is 2025 now, and practically one foot in the door of 2026, but we started out wanting to do sleepwear, handbags and maybe eventually something else.

The whole journey to get where we are now, has been to say the least, trying.

We had tried several different ideas on names, branding, what we would make, even took a break and considered making printables which was an odd detour to say the least, but here we are now, with our brand intact, our sanity has been tested, and our friendship has been shaken at it’s core. We’ve even yelled at each other a time or two and then in true bff fashion, we cried, we apologized, and were laughing about this in less than an hour.

Every Anise piece has a history — from the relationship with the artisan, to the life of the wearer. We design each of our collections with the intention of creating pieces that can be passed down through generations, with minimal waste and minimal carbon footprint. Our jewelry is all made by local artisans based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with expertise in traditional methods of crafting jewelry by hand.
